As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, I was selected as one of the lucky bold influencers to attend The Vodacom Durban July on The Lux Bold Tour. When we landed on Friday the weather was warm and the sun was out. I thought KZN weather was playing nice, only for us to wake up to a grey, cloudy and chilly sky on Saturday. I felt like I was being sabotaged. Why would the weather not allow us to be great? Luckily I was travelling with my trusted camel coat which literally saved the day. It looked fantastic paired with my lilac lace dress from RIICH Store. I was recovering from a bout of the cold, so I was really happy to have my coat with me. I couldn’t have planned it better if I tried.
Lace isn’t a fabric I wear often. If I think back, I can only remember owning one other lace piece. I have no idea why though because lace is so feminine and delicate. It’s sexy but in a demure kind of way. Totally my kind of vibe. What I loved about this dress was the nude fabric underneath the lace which gave it a bare illusion. It actually matched my skin which made this dress a banger! At the fitting there was another lace dress I really liked in white but the chest area just wasn’t right for an itty bitty titty girl like me. Nude minimal ankle strap sandals and a marble clutch completed my look. Check it out below
